Expedition LSM is proud to host 2 Learn to Trail Run Clinics at Mont Ste-Marie this summer.
Saturday June 30, 2018 – Learn to Trail Run Clinic #1 – Register HERE
Saturday August 4, 2018 – Learn to Trail Run Clinic #2 – Register HERE
Clinics cover the basics of how to dress, including appropriate footwear, techniques for managing turns, obstacles and hills. Start is 9:00am SHARP at Velo MSM Gazebo. Cost is $10 per session and all proceeds go to Expedition LSM – a non-profit organization aimed at revitalizing the trail network around Golf Lac Ste Marie for biking, hiking running and XC skiing.
The following Saturdays there will be FREE Group Trail Runs. These are unstructured group outings. All participants go at their own pace.
Saturday July 7, 14, 28, and August 18.
Finally, on Saturday August 25, 2018, we will host the 3rd Annual Tour de Montage. An opportunity to hike or run several different trail segments covering the entire mountain followed by group yoga and picnic on the beach! This event is FREE and simply intended as a way to encourage you to set a goal for the end of the season and work toward it by building your personal fitness over the course of the summer. It is a community celebration of hiking and trail running. So mark your calendars. More info will follow.
