On behalf of the Expedition LSM Board and Committee Members, thank you everyone for a great season! These trails would not be possible without the support of our community and volunteers that have supported us throughout this year and into the future.
This year has been an exciting year for Expedition LSM as we opened the newly expanded wooded trail section (Double Magnum) and had a high volume of snowfall which resulted in a long ski season.
As the spring weather approaches, and in the interest of safety, we have decided to close the trails for the season effective immediately.
Expedition LSM continues to plan for future trail development and maintenance and our board will work together to source funding opportunities such as grants and other fundraising ideas.
A very special thank you to our volunteer groomers, Eric Paul and Ron Dubeau, who spent countless hours grooming the trails and repairing our equipment throughout the season.
I want to personally thank the board and committee members for their commitment and support of our organization and it’s endeavours: Ron Dubeau, Éric Paul, Marc Foucault, Mark McKendrick, Andrée Bertrand, Gene Lapensee and Bob Sudermann Thank you for your contribution to Expedition LSM and the community of Lac Ste Marie.

Au nom du conseil d’Expedition LSM et des membres du comité, merci à tous pour cette belle saison! Ces sentiers ne seraient pas possibles sans le soutien de notre communauté et de nos bénévoles.
Cette année a vu une saison excitante pour Expedition LSM; avec l’ouverture de la section de sentier boisée récemment agrandie (Double Magnum), et un très bon volume de neige, on a réussi à étirer la saison de ski encore plus que les années précédantes.
Mais maintenant que Mère Nature a suffisamment réchauffé les choses et rendu les pistes un peu boueteuses, nous avons décidé d’être prudents et de fermer les pistes et avons ainsi officiellement cessé de les damner.
Entre-temps, Expédition LSM continuera de planifier le développement et l’entretien des pistes et notre conseil d’administration travaillera avec acharnement pour dénicher des possibilités de financement telles que des subventions et autres formes de contributions pour augmenter notre fond d’opération.
Un merci tout particulier à nos soigneurs bénévoles; Eric Paul et Ron Dubeau, qui ont passés d’innombrables heures à entretenir les sentiers et à réparer notre équipement tout au long de la saison.
Je tiens personnellement à remercier le conseil d’administration et les membres du comité pour leur soutien inconditionnel à ces sentiers: Ron Dubeau, Éric Paul, Marc Foucault, Mark McKendrick, Andrée Bertrand, Gêne Lapensee et Bob Sudermann pour leur contribution à Expedition LSM et à la communauté de Lac Ste Marie.
